Jessica Pyon, AMFT

Hi! I’m Jessica, a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with a B.A. in Cognitive Science from USC and an M.S. in Counseling from Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences. I work with individuals, children, teens, and families—supporting those navigating anxiety, depression, autism, bipolar disorder, borderline personality traits, and relationship or family conflict.

My approach is person-centered and grounded in unconditional positive regard. I strive to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Together, we’ll set meaningful goals, explore strategies that fit your life, and—yes—occasionally find humor even in the midst of hard moments. I genuinely believe therapy can be both healing and, at times, surprisingly fun.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, exploring new places around the Bay Area, and playing instruments. I’m a lifelong Los Angeles Dodgers fan and proud cat mom to Mac and Theo.

If you’d like to connect, please reach out to me at jessicap@instituteofmindfultherapy.com. I look forward to walking alongside you as you navigate challenges and celebrate your wins.
