Karina Rochnik, AMFT

Karina is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship distress, life transitions, and trauma. She brings a warm, steady presence and a down-to-earth style that helps clients feel grounded, understood, and cared for from the very first session.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and supportive, blending evidence-informed practices with a deeply human, practical lens. Karina helps clients clarify what truly matters to them—values, strengths, identity, and aspirations—and uses those insights to guide meaningful, sustainable change. With couples and families, she focuses on strengthening communication patterns, easing conflict cycles, and helping partners and family members reconnect in ways that feel safe and authentic.

Clients appreciate Karina’s ability to create a space where they can slow down, explore their inner world, and make sense of patterns that no longer serve them. Her goal is to help each person understand themselves more fully, feel less alone in their struggles, and build the skills and confidence needed to move toward a more fulfilling life.

Outside the therapy room, Karina can often be found riding her motorcycle through the hills of the Bay Area, getting lost in a good novel, or playing fetch with her golden retriever, Lexa.
