Lucia Campbell, ASW
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable being fully yourself. My goal is to create a supportive space where we can explore what is getting in the way, build on your strengths, and move toward the life you want.
I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals, and my work is informed by both professional training and personal experience, allowing me to approach these challenges with empathy and practical insight.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I draw from evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, parts work, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. We will explore patterns, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
Before joining the Institute of Mindful Therapy, I spent more than five years working as a social worker in San Francisco, supporting older adults and individuals living with severe mental illness. These experiences continue to shape my approach and deepen my appreciation for the resilience people carry. I earned my Master of Social Work with a focus in Health, Equity, and Wellness from the University of Denver and am a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker.
When I am not in the therapy room, you can find me gardening, playing outside with my adorable dog, Jellybean, or unwinding with a cheesy movie.
