  • Lucia Campbell, ASW

    Lucia earned her Master of Social Work with a focus in Health, Equity, and Wellness from the University of Denver and is a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker. She has over five years of experience as a social worker in San Francisco serving older adults and individuals with severe mental illness. Now, as part of the Institute of Mindful Therapy, she is excited to blend her clinical skills with her practice, continuing her mission to empower and support her clients on their journey toward meaningful change.

    With a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental presence, Lucia creates a safe space where clients feel heard. Knowing that therapy is a big step to take, Lucia makes every effort to ensure you are understood and valued.  She has extensive experience working with adults managing depression, anxiety, Bipolar disorder, and she is particularly dedicated to working with individuals who identify as neurodivergent.

    Lucia operates from a client-centered and collaborative approach, always focusing on the unique strengths and needs of her clients. She integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities including trauma-informed care, attachment theory, cognitive behavioral theory, and mindfulness techniques to create a supportive and personalized therapeutic experience. Lucia is passionate about helping individuals gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors, and she partners with them to navigate life’s challenges in ways that promote both healing and growth.

    When she’s not working with clients, Lucia is spending time with her fluffy dog companion, soaking up California sunshine, or watching the latest romantic comedy on Netflix.
