Sorrenta has an diverse history in the mental health field. Her experience includes working with the SF City & County Employee Assistance Program, the San Francisco School district, Intensive Outpatient Programs, along with several years of large roles on nonprofit boards. At this point in her career, she felt it was time to follow her dream of creating a holistic therapy and wellness center. Sorrenta enjoys training other therapists, public speaking and offering consulting services. Sorrenta is licensed to supervise interns and enjoys her work as a compassionate Walnut Creek Therapist.
Institute of Mindful Therapy was started because Sorrenta saw too many individuals not getting the therapeutic treatment that they deserved. She created this unique program at IMT where she provides a concierge service and incorporates an integrative approach to helping people.
Currently she oversees IMT and loves working with couples and individuals.
